The concept art for Mass Effect 2 up until now has been pretty damn cheerful with the recurring theme of hope ringing through them that stems from the rebuilding of a once great society; this one inparticular ... the white birds give it away.

However, the latest pieces of concept art out of BioWare don't have that much to be cheerful about, showing off, what we assume, is part of the destruction that Saren and co created, as well as a dark and dingy space station that looks nothing like the tranquil confines of the Citidel. Interesting and pretty fancy concept art.
