With new downloadable content on the way for Fallout 3 Bethesda has released some new screenshots to give gamers a taste of things to come. The upcoming content is titled, "Broken Steel" and will bring with it some changes that gamers have been asking for. At the top of the list is that this new content will raise the level cap from level 20 to level 30. By getting your character to the new level cap you will unlock more perks as well as some brand new achievements. Once you pass level 20 there will be some brand new enemies that you will have to deal with including a Super Mutant Overlord. You will continue your Fallout 3 character past the events of "Project Purity" and work with the Brotherhood of Steel to try and eliminate the threat once and for all. The "Broken Steel" content is set to hit XBox Live on May 5.

In addition to all of that Bethesda has released a patch for Fallout 3 to solve some nagging issues. The first item this patch fixes is crashes related to altered references between master files. The second thing it fixes is allowing LOD objects to render properly when loaded from DLC worldspaces. Finally the issues has been fixed with companion NPC's not loading into cells immediately after player. The new achievements associated with "Broken Steel" are also added to the list with this patch.
